Are you on 12.1.1 or an earlier version? If say 12.01, upgrade (after duplicating project files) to 12.1.1.
If in 12.1.1, go to Window/Workspaces/reset to saved layout.
Yes it's on 12.1.1 but same thing when I tried to down grade to 12.1.0 earlier today.
I would love to reset my workspace but I can't access it unfortunately, it crashes when I tri to switch it.

When you launch, immediately go to reset. Do that across a couple other spaces, then ... relaunch. Do the same, then try the problematic workspace, and of course, go to the reset before doing anything other than selecting the workspace.
Still facing this issue, BorisD? You might try closing Lumetri Scopes and relaunching the workspace. Does that work for you? Let us know.
