Is lightroom 4 map and lightroom cc map different?

I don't think there are any significant differences to the Map Module, other than the Map Module in Lightroom Classic CC seems a lot faster to me.

One difference is that -as far as I know- the map module in Lightroom 4 doesn't work anymore. Google changed the API and Lr4 is no longer updated.
