Please check if you have configured a standard program for email in your system?
If this doesn't help we need more informations about your system.
Thanks for your suggestion, however it worked perfectly well up until about
a week ago!
I have a MacBook Pro, Mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13.4 and I use Gmail to
send emails. I had email troubles some years ago, changed computers and
was thrilled all has worked well until now!!
Maybe I do need to change or check something, but what!

You can not add photos/attachments by email. You need to log in to the web forum for this to work.

Depending on your security settings in Google this may be your issue. This link may get you going in the right direction to set up a password in gmail to allow Lr to send your images... Please let us know if this fixes the problem.

add-on .. one thing not to forget:
You need to allow Google to lower the security settings for your account. There is a setting for that when you log int your gmail settings online.
