Is there a way to convert a document to a PDF?

I just wanted to know if there is a way to convert a document into a PDF?  If so can you let me know please?

There are many ways but Adobe Acrobat Reader won't do it. You can use the subscription PDFPack or the full version of Acrobat.

What kind of document? If it's an MS document (.doc .xls...etc) there is Save as>PDF although it's not the best converter.
