Could you try running Acrobat in compatibility mode (for Windows 7/vista) using the steps given in the link below and check if that resolves the issue.
Also, try installing the latest patch for Acrobat from this link: DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products , reboot the machine after installing update and check.
So I've tried following the troubleshooting steps you've given me and they haven't worked.
Compatibility mode didn't resolve the issue.
I went to try to download the patch and after downloading and running the patch the error I get is: The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program.
Side note: For the patch I went to the link you had and clicked on the first link for Acrobat Patch AcrobatDCUpd1801120038.msp with 243 MB for the size of the patch.
So I'm once again stuck. I'm willing to listen to any other suggestions you may have.
Hello Adorobat, I've tried to use the link that you gave me and download the file you suggested and I'm getting the same error of it not being able to find the software or that this patch isn't for the right software.
