    VideoEvent not working? and fxvideo events

      i am trying to remove a busy cursor when my video starts playing. i tried both:

      <mx:VideoDisplay id="tv" complete="tv.addEventListener(VideoEvent.READY, removeBusy)" source="yoursrc.flv"/>
      and
      <mx:VideoDisplay id="tv" complete="tv.addEventListener(VideoEvent.PLAYING, removeBusy)" source="yoursrc.flv"/>

      private function removeBusy(event:VideoEvent):void {
      CursorManager.removeBusyCursor()
      }

      neither of those remove the busy cursor. I actually am trying to remove the busy cursor when a video is played using fxvideo component. It seems like i can use the VideoEvent.READY event on an fxvideo component. here is my code:

      <controls:FXVideo id="player" source="{source}"/>

      as soon as i populate source with a value i call a function wait:

      private function wait():void {
      player.addEventListener(VideoEvent.READY, removeBusy);
      }

      private function removeBusy(event:VideoEvent):void {
      CursorManager.removeBusyCursor()
      }

      that seems to show a busy cursor for about a second and then removes it. does anyone know how to remove the wait cursor from either of these 2 scenerios? or does someone have a solution for another player?
