I have tried each troubleshooting step listed here: Fix PDFMaker unavailability in MS Office
When Word is launched, the "Adobe PDF" tab is not shown. In Word, File > Options > Add-Ins shows "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" in Active Application Add-ins and is checked. As mentioned, I tried all the steps in this link: Fix PDFMaker unavailability in MS Office . But the tab is just not there.
I don't need the add-in for Outlook, but this error appears in Outlook > File > Options > Add-Ins > "Load Behavior: Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in."
What gives? Is there a patch or update for Word or Acrobat DC 2015 that will resolve this?
This was resolved by manually applying an update. In previous versions, but the update option was in the Help menu. Since it wasn't there, I incorrectly assumed that this was up-to-date/self-updating.
