      Hi,

      Hopefully I'm addressing the correct forum, I cannot find any installation topics so please advice if this is not the correct forum.
      I Just downloaded a trial version for flex builder, but it fails to install with a message in a log file:
      !SESSION 2008-08-15 15:10:51.954 -----------------------------------------------
      eclipse.buildId=unknown
      java.version=1.5.0_11
      java.vendor=Sun Microsystems Inc.

      Framework arguments: -application org.eclipse.update.core.standaloneUpdate -command install -from file:\C:\ProgramsAdobe\Flex3\com.adobe.flexbuilder.update.site/ -featureId com.adobe.flexbuilder.feature.standalone -version 3.0.194161
      Command-line arguments: -application org.eclipse.update.core.standaloneUpdate -command install -from file:\C:\ProgramsAdobe\Flex3\com.adobe.flexbuilder.update.site/ -featureId com.adobe.flexbuilder.feature.standalone -version 3.0.194161

      !MESSAGE Cannot install featurecom.adobe.flexbuilder.feature.standalone 3.0.194161

      my system is a kind of mess:
      xp
      jvm/jdk versions are varying from 1.4 to 1.6, defaults (default: java -version is 1.6.0_03-b05)
      eclipse also has multiple installations (europe is most used) but is not accessible from the PATH,
      apart from that I also have an IBM RAD 7 installation.

      I'm a bit confused how flexbuilder knows which eclipse to use.
      also i can see in the logfiles that files where copied to com.adobe.flexbuilder.update.site but this directory is removed after installation.so i seen no way to do a manual installation

      Any help is greatly appreciated.
      regards,
      Jeroen.
