Unable to import KFP file From Acrobat DC Mac to Acrobat DC PC

Getting ready for an enterprise deployment of CC2018 and Acrobat DC. Trying to update the Custom Preflight Settings across platforms. I can Export from PC to MAC and import, but not the visa versa. The reason that we are doing this is to capture the output intent from the PDFs that were created with the current profile. Any clues why? I can export the KFP profiles from Acrobat 10 and import them to the PC side, but not from DC to DC.

Running Mac Sierra 10.12.6 Mac Book Pro 2.8 GHz to a PC running Windows 10 64bit. Intel Core 2.6Ghz

Does any one know if Acrobat .kfp files are backwards compatible?
