"Is the plugin not the full version?" - a plugin is an additive install (no matter what program it's for), so there is no such thing as a "full version" plugin. Are your audio drivers up to date? What version of the Flash player plugin did you install? Where did you get the file?
When I uninstall Flash Player (from the site you link to in the other thread), then install from the link you give there:
the file I download (install_flash_player.exe) has the Description "Adobe® Flash® Player Plugin Installer." Where do I find an installer for the *full* Flash Player?
Oh, the version of the plugin is 18.104.22.168. I just can't find a full version to install. The plugin plays video (e.g., YouTube) visuals fine; it just doesn't play the audio. I'm hoping installing a full version will solve this.
Like I said before, there is no "full version" to a plug-in. The only other aspect of this plug-in is the ActiveX Control. If you go back to http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html look for
