    Transparent Background From PowerPoint

We have two different computers, both with the same versions of PowerPoint and Flash7. We right click on a graphic in Power point and select copy. We then click on the stage in Flash 2004 Professional and paste the graphic from the clipboard. The graphic comes in as flash0.png. On his computer the background is black. On my computer the background is transparent. As far as we can tell all our flash preferences are the same. From reading the posts, it seems like different browsers may display the backgrounds differently when we post this to the web.

Question 1: Any idea how to consistently make the imported graphics background transparent?
Question 2: Will different browsers display the .png background differently?
