Acrobat Reader DC 2018 (Continuous Track) msp upgrade problem

Hi,

Downloaded AcroRdrDC1800920044_sv_SE.exe and created a msi package.

Installed on a windows 10 1803 computer.

Installation ok.

Downloaded msp Version 2018.011.2004 and tried to upgrade.

Error message is "the upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer..."

Upgrading manually from program works.

Any suggestions?

Hi Tomasv,

The MSP file you have downloaded for version 2018.011.2004 of Reader DC, is a patch installer file.

You can install this patch only if the prior version for this application is installed on the machine.

You have mentioned that you download the version 2018.009.20044.

Please refer this link Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader to check the patch released after this version.

Make sure they are installed on your machine before you install the latest one.
