We use Adobe Acrobat DC to complete bids. In the process, many users have to edit the same PDF doc. The problem is the software notifies us that there is an other user only when you quit the document instead of notifying you when you open it.

We use Adobe Acrobat DC to complete bids. In the process, many users have to edit the same PDF doc. The problem is we get notified that there is an other user only when we quit the document instead of being notified when we open it. Therefore, we have to save the document under a different name, and then, we need to go through both versions to catch differences and adjust one version. The risk of mistakes is high, as much as wasted time and $. Could it be possible to get notify when we enter in the PDF instead of being notified when we exit ?

Thanks for your help,

Caroline

PDF files are not suited for this kind of editing. Use another file format

(like InDesign files) and convert the final file to PDF.
