We have a code signing cert from Verisign, used Microsofts signtool utility to sign the Flash Projector exe, but all we get is a 'white' screen.
The cert appears to be working as the dialog gives us the right details. ie, not an unknown publisher.
So, would you get signing successful?
Yes, it signed succesfully, and the publisher was known, just the movie wouldn't start.
I think we've figured it out, just waiting on a new digital id from Verisign.
We were using a code signing digital id for 'Java'...but I believe you need to use a MS Authenticode digital ID. I'll update the thread once I get the new id.
Got the new digital id, but still have the same problem. Flash player loads, but the movie doesn't after the digital id has been applied.
I have the same problem - I'm using a Comodo signature & XP professional though.
When I run it I am told that the file was successfully signed and the when I run the exe file I am given a valid Publisher name - but the flash exe file is the correct size but blank
Did anyone find a solution to this?
Well you can use FlashJester Jugglor.
Put your Projector file through Jugglor and it will create a new Juggled exe
which you then can digital sign.
Download an evaluation copy from
and then try it.

Hope this helps.

We actually purchased Jugglor and it worked!
There must be something about the Adobe flash exe that isn't exactly what Microsoft expects it to be.
