    custom authentication

      Hi -

I've read about custom authentication using the different server implementations of LoginCommand but it all relates to securing destinations.

I would like to authenticate with Tomcat at the beginning of my application using a login form prior to showing my main application view or calling any of my destinations. How do I do this?

Do I make a remote object call to the methods of TomcatLoginCommand?

as I understand from documentation :
values from your form should be set as parametes to method setCredentials() off the service you like to use.
which ultiamtely will take them and use tomcatLogin to authenticate agains container.
I have not tried it myself yet wiill do it tonight I am also interested in how that works in practice.
