PSE Error & Doesn't Show in Registry

I have the very common PSE/Windows 10 update error everyone else is experiencing. I would like to try the fix that has been posted multiple times. However, PSE does not show up in my registry under Current User/Software/Adobe.  It doesn't show up anywhere in the Current User folder.

Help?  Why would this be?  I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice with full reboots and restarts in between.

Thanks in advance to all you who are smarter than I am!

Update! And I will create a new thread... Because I purchased and downloaded from the Microsoft store, and because I am using a Surface Pro (tablet), the installation of PSE 2018 did not show up in the registry. After a 5 min wait with tech support, the dude took control of my computer, had to create a registry entry for PSE and then proceeded to run the fix.

I have the same problem!

The PSE 2018 from Windows Store is an UWP application which does not contain any registry info. However, the information derives from registry is stored in UWP data folder which can not be accessed or modified by user.

So the problem from normal edition of PSE 2018 can be fixed by changing registry while the Store edition can not.

What we can do is waiting the official fix!
