Audition CC MME device internal error

Hello,

Can somebody help me with this error?

I get an MME device internal error if I want to change my microphone and headset.

If i select my microphone and headset it says its not working but it is in games and other programmas?

It is set as default in my computer aswell

Any ideas?

Hello,

I have found the solution !

The problem was that I had turned off microphone use in apps in windows 10.

If you go to settings and turn on microphone use in apps it works.

Have a look at the Device Class setting and see if there's an alternative driver shown - like WASAPI - and try that.

That is a distinct possibility. You are not the only person suffering from the 'MME internal error' problem - I suspect that Microsoft may well have done something that's upset existing drivers in an 'upgrade'. If you want to diagnose this better, try installing the ASIO4ALL driver (it's free) and looking at the diagnostics on that (click on 'settings') - it will give you a clearer idea of what isn't working.

I have installed ASIO4ALL my microphone and headset was idle I set it to active tried again but still not working. Tried MME and WASAPI. Its sad because do have the trial but I cant use it...
