JoeyD1978 Jan 7, 2009 7:33 AM (in response to quality11)What operating system? I'm not very familiar with Mac, but on Windows fonts are installed in the system - not individual applications. I'm quite sure the Mac platform is the same way.
If you are on windows, just browse to your C: drive, then open the "windows" folder, and then finally the "fonts" folder. From there just copy and paste the font files in. You can also open up control panel and access the fonts folder from there. -

quality11 Jan 7, 2009 8:01 AM (in response to JoeyD1978)I do have Windows -- XP. I thought the method you mentioned was for MS products. I use that for Word, etc. but I thought FW has different and many more fonts so thought there was a different method. -

quality11 Jan 7, 2009 12:05 PM (in response to JoeyD1978)Cool! I didn't know that. Thanks for your help. Any idea why the fonts I'm trying to install won't work? Someone who has a Mac gave them to me on a CD so I can code her web design. Not sure of the file type but the size says 0 KB. -

JoeyD1978 Jan 7, 2009 12:57 PM (in response to quality11)Yeah if they begin with an underscore you'll need to tell your Mac friend you need them converted to a windows friendly format. -
