Just to get you started:
whatever the look of your sprite (ie do you want a progress bar-type effect, or just a marker to show the current playtime), the best way to think about this is in terms of percentages. when you have converted the movie time to percentages, you can relate that to the length of a sprite, or the position of a sprite over another sprite...
Thanks for replying to my post. I already have the progress bar effect for the movie working. I also have the slider button on the progress bar to which the user can slide left and right and it shift the time of the movie like it should. What I am trying to do:
I am trying to have another sprite (about 20 pixels below the slider button) to follow the movement of the slider. Even when the user drags the slider left and right.
In the code that moves the slider, move the shadow sprite at the same time:
what about a behavior to your slider.
