Hello,
I'm working on titling with red colored font (HEX#0000) I have a issue with the font blooming and soft edge around the font. Has anyone had this problem?
Is there a solution? Please let me know at your earliest convenience.
Regards,
L. Lorence

Red has always been a difficult color.
Give it a narrow black stroke.

Do you mean an edge?

Any color, when in a highly-saturated, pure form, is going to be problematic for video use a lot of times. Besides adding the black edge Ann Bens suggested, tone down the color a bit. Will still be red to viewer, just not quite so red. Computers use RGB color for display and easily handle any bright, neon color, so looks great on computer when creating, but when you export to VIDEO, especially with lots of compression and 4:2:0 color, doesn't look so great any longer.
Even white should not be used in pure form for video - rather than 255, 255, 255 it can help to back it down to 235 instead. So if your red slider is up near 255, bring it down a bit, mix in a little bit of Blue and/or Green perhaps.
Where are you seeing the issue - in Premiere preview, or exported file? If export, can be see export settings frame (screen grab) ?
Thanks
Jeff

Thanks Jeff,
The video looks OK in preview, but it could be better in a MP4 exported file.
