    Acrobat Pro 9 on Windows 10 Enterprise error 147:20


      I have about 10 licenses for Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 that have stopped working on my Windows 10 machines a few months ago.


      They all give the error: "Licensing for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe Customer support for help. (147:20)"


      I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling. I've tried repairing. I've tried compatibility mode. I've downloaded and installed all the updates and patches for Adobe 9 up to 9.5.5.  I tried everything on this help article: Error: "Licensing has stopped working" | Windows and nothing has helped. I'm not sure if it was an Windows update or what that broke it. Seems like everything was running fine and then one day they all just quit working. They still run fine on my Windows 7 machines, but I'm trying to migrate all those to 10 in the next few months and then I won't have it working on any computers.


      Any suggestions that aren't buying newer versions of the software?
