Playback speed is glitching.

Hi, I've been using premiere pro for a while, it has been working fine until a couple of weeks ago.

I was about to start editing a video, I imported all of my media and when I've placed it in the timeline I realized that the speed of the video and audio is too high, I tried turning it down with [CTRL] + L / J but it didn't work.

This issue is happening with all media, even media I downloaded from the internet. It makes the audio sound like it is getting cut every millisecond.

I've been searching around the web for an answer but it looks like no one is having the same issue.

I have a pretty good computer so I don't think it is a performance issue.

Please help!

I have the same problem. But this happens from Premiere 2017 forward. Try to use the first version of CC. It worked for me though it was pretty bad to work on.
