    Locking page elements

I need help with the following.
I am using multi page tab control in my application. The page has text box, radio buttons, check boxes and drop downs. After user submits the page I want to lock the data elements for update but want to keep the previous and next button enable for navigation and review the data. Is there any easy way to achieve this without having to set the property for each and every data element on the page? I tried to disable the tab, which disabled the navigation options.
      Please help

I would think that by default Flex will retain the values that were entered for the controls on the various tab pages. If you don't reset them then after submitting the values should be there. Maybe I don't have a clear enough picture of the issue and the workflow.
