As per the issue description mentioned above, images are not displaying properly in a pdf file converted from a powerpoint, is that correct?
Could you try restoring PDF maker settings to defaults using "Restore defaults" option under Acrobat tab in powerpoint > preferences, rebooting the machine and check if that helps.
Also, let us know dot version of Acrobat and the operating system installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

My PC updated yesterday and now the images in PDFs are not displaying properly (missing or blurry). I created the PDFs in PowerPoint and am using Adobe XI Pro.
I've already tried:
* Saving the Powerpoint file as Jpegs and the images were fine - so Powerpoint is not the issue
What is your workflow for creating the PDF from PowerPoint?
I tried restoring PDF maker to the default settings, but the images are still blurry/missing.
I'm using Adobe XI Pro for Students and Teachers on a PC with Windows 10.
Typically I select "Save as Adobe Pdf" in Powerpoint and use Adobe to secure the file. I've tried exporting as a PDF also, but the images still remain missing/blurry. I did not have any of these issues prior to my computer's recent update.
