    Scroll Bars driving me nuts!

    EdLaFave
      I have components defined in the following way:

      <mx:VBox xmlns:mx=" http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" width="100%" height="100%">
      <mx:TabBar dataProvider="resourceCustomization"/>
      <mx:ViewStack id="resourceCustomization" width="100%" height="100%">
      <resources:DefineResourceType label="Define Resource Types" width="100%" height="100%"/>
      </mx:ViewStack>
      </mx:VBox>

      Where the resources:DefineResourceType component has the following structure:

      <mx:HBox xmlns:mx=" http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" width="100%" height="100%">
      <mx:VBox height="100%" width="50%" paddingLeft="10">
      <!-- some components here -->
      </mx:VBox>
      <mx:VBox height="100%" width="50%" paddingLeft="10">
      <!-- some components here -->
      </mx:VBox>
      </mx:HBox>

      Initially when this loads there is a single vertical scroll bar and everything looks nice. However, the two VBoxes associated with DefineResourceType can grow in height as the user interacts with them. Once they exceed a certain size then two vertical scroll bars are displayed. One is associated with the DefineResourceType component and the other is associated with the outermost VBox. Anybody have any idea how to get only 1 vertical scrollbar, this has been driving me nuts for a couple days now.
