QuickTime export from Premiere CC 2018 on OSX 10.11

I have an issue where some MP4 video (exported from Premiere CC 2018 on their default Vimeo 1080 HD setting) shows some screen artificating (unwanted gray and white on a black background) when played on 10.6.8.  Has anyone else seen this?  Is there a possible solution?

Hi procuts2,

Thanks for the info. It is an issue with the player. Please use a different player or export the file to a different format as a workaround.

Thanks,

Vidya

I'm confused.  Are you exporting a QuickTime file or an MP4 file?

Hi procuts2,

Sorry for the trouble. As Jim Simon mentioned, please elaborate the issue.

Are you playing the video using QuickTime in 10.6.8? Have you tried to playback the video in VLC player? Are you still seeing the artifacts?

Thanks,

Vidya

Exporting as an MP4 file; plays fine on the VLC Player using 10.6.8; Quicktime Player in 10.6.8 has the issue.

QuickTime (along with Windows Media Player) are two two worst media players available.

I recommend just not using them.
