Every so often a question comes up on problems with dynamic linking. An alternative strategy is to export video files and load the files into PP or AE, but if its just a puppet (not background) you need to export preserving transparency information which most media formats do not support. Its not that hard, but there are a couple of steps that are not so obvious.
