how do you know that you are not getting any data, does there appear any errors? If so can you please post them!
do you have tomcat deployed somewhere , or you are trying to access tomcat deployed on your development machine? I know its dumb question but still I was brave to ask :)
Are you sure your crossdomain file is correct and is in the correct location?
I placed the crossdomain.xml file under webapps/ROOT/ directory in Tomcat.
This is the content of the crossdomain.xml
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM " http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
<allow-access-from domain="*" to-ports="8080"/>
Did you solve this yet?
I would suggest making to-port="*" and trying some additional locations for the crossdomain file. What does the url for the data call look like?
