Adobe. This problem needs to be fixed.

When choosing any color format, (CMYK, Pantone, etc.) the application crashes. Regardless of which path we choose to create the color (drop down menu or within the color palette itself).

There have been temporary fixes which we have found on various threads; however, they are temporary.

To not fix this is UNACCEPTABLE.

We need a permanent solution which helps us not lose valuable time.

Regards,

Andy Westbrook

And you need to post full information on what’s happening here including why you’re using a three year old version of InDesign. CC2015 will not receive any further updates.

Hi Andy,

what were your temporary fixes?

Important: What's the operating system's version you are running CC 2015.4 on?

Regards,
Uwe

The main temp fix simply included trashing the color palette preferences

file allowing it to refresh.

the current system software is OS X 10.9.5 with Intel Core i5.

From reading, it looks like this system does support at least up to

InDesign CS 2017.

I am curious as to why the cloud has not simply updated the app as we have

gone along. We do pay for the updates.

Because users would be up in arms if Adobe did automatic updates to applications.

Adobe notifies the availability of new software but does not force the user to upgrade. That’s I think is very fair!
