Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me today as I am not an Adobe genius!  I'm using windows 8.1; internet explorer 11.0.9600.19078.  I recently suffered a system crash and now adobe flash, acrobat, etc are missing.  I have tried repeatedly to download from the site, and once it's done, it shows up in control panel's programs, but not on any menus.  Once I locate the file and try to install it, I get an error message saying "Setup failed; product configuration s missing."  Does anyone have any suggestions?

As of Windows 8.0, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE.  There is no separate Flash Player installation for IE on Windows 8.1, as such, the error you are reporting is not a Flash Player error.  I'm assuming it's an Acrobat error. Please clarify which Acrobat product you're referring to and I'll move this discussion to the appropriate Acrobat forum.
