Is it Good to Delete Media Cache and Media Cache Files Every Once in Awhile?

Hi! I have had a few occasions when I was working in Premiere and when I opened an existing project it started loading audio from another project and linking the audio media incorrectly. I went in and delete the most recent media cache associate with the project I was working on and it fixed the problem.

I also learned that it is better to import media through the Media Browser rather than just clicking "import." Does that sound correct to everyone?

So, it occurred to me...maybe I should delete ALL the Media Cache and Media Cache files every once in awhile to freshen things up...and also to open up some Hard Drive space...Does this seem link a good idea? Yes? No? Or it doesn't matter?

      Thank you!
