I've seen this question multiple times and it's extremely disappointing there are no fixes to this issue. As many have stated the troubleshooting guide, plus the standard replies from the "help" team do not solve the issue.
This issue has rendered Lightroom unusable when importing new photos. Extremely disappointing. I'm at the point where I have little choice but to unsubscribe and move to a different program such as Capture One.
It's particularly frustrating how many of the responses from the "help" team references users to issues with our devices rather than the true culprit which is a faulty program.
Adobe, this is unacceptable and shameful.
We're not Adobe here, we are other Lightroom users. If you want Adobe to hear your message, contact them instead of us.
