Hello!
While I can see all console logs in the debugger (Chrome), the log file just contains this data (Illustrator on Windows).
CEPHtmlEngine8-ILST-22.1.0-com.ciclosoftware.myextension.log
[0815/104744.558:ERROR:child_thread_impl.cc(762)] Request for unknown Channel-associated interface: ui::mojom::GpuMain
On my Mac it seems fine, I don't understand.
It's important to me to be able to analyse this file on my user's computers.
Best regards,
Stefan
Hi Stefan!
I will ask the CEP team or the Illustrator team to help you out.
Have you tried the following?
1. Set HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\CSXS.8\LogLevel to 6
2. You can find logs here C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Temp\CEPHtmlEngine9-ILST-22.1.0-com.adobe.yourExtensionName.extension.log)
I was helping another user and the engineering team suggested this, but they other user was on CEP 9 (currently in the prerelease) and
Illustrator 23:

Hello Adobe?
This is quite important for any Extension development! And for sure there's more people and users affected!
Please look into this! We need to analyse users' logs! Even on Windows!
Gratefully!
Stefan

See Setting Cep Debug Mode and Log Level the Easy Way | Creative-Scripts.com for an easy way to do it.
My CSTK In Adobe App Console and Development Tool | Creative-Scripts.com has a clickable method.

Also note each extension produces 2 logs (beside the app log) the one is also pretty empty that's why I didn't provide a link for it on the CSTK, so make sure you are looking at the correct log.

Thank you very much! That did the trick. I was hoping the logging can be activated remotely, but I can manage with this!
