They have a match for every other style, can't they chat with Canon and match the Monochrome as well?
It's baffling that they Canon offer it as a shooting style in camera, but then when you move the file from camera to computer via Lightroom, the most used editing platform for photographers, the shot you took is basically gone and you are left in editing limbo essentially. You have to pick and edit either holding camera next to screen to try and mimic as best you can or the same thing with the jpeg file next to the raw. I've searched this forum and to my best effort have not found a solution apart from what i've mentioned above.

All the styles in your camera are only mimicked in Lightroom. Lightroom cannot read the Canon style and apply it. 'Camera Monochrome' is the profile that Adobe created to mimic the B&W style in your camera. Apart from that, Lightroom has a number of other B&W profiles that you can try to see which best matches what you want to achieve.

If you really want to use the Canon picture style then shoot JPG + RAW and use the JPG image.
All those styles only get applied to the JPG image. RAW is RAW or RAW should only be RAW sensor data. Which with most cameras it is.

Hi photograz,
After the recent update of Lightroom CC 1.4, the Monochrome profile added to Lightroom CC.
