Acrobat X is not a part of your CC subscription, first of all. It's a separate application.
The file you're trying to edit was created using LiveCycle Designer, not Acrobat. Therefore it can only be edited in that application, which came bundled with earlier versions of Acrobat Pro. It's not anymore, though. It needs to be purchased separately.
However, it seems from the screenshot that you're on a Mac computer. If that's the case then you can't edit this file at all, as LCD was a Windows-only application.
In short, you should convert this file to a normal Acrobat PDF if you want to be able to edit it now, or in the future.
Sorry, I thought you wrote that you were using Acrobat X, but I see now that you didn't. So ignore the first sentence of the reply above.
This is incorrect. If I was able to edit the very same file only hours ago why am I no longer able to do so?? How does that make sense.
I can't answer that, but I know for a fact you can't edit LCD forms on a Mac, so something doesn't make sense in what you're describing.
Would it be possible for you to share the file with us?
