Hey guys,

I tried to make a portrait format video in Premiere Pro. I've set all the required settings like they're supposed to be e.g. resolution to 1080x1920, framerate to 30fps and so on. After I finished editing the video I wanted to export it. I pressed ctrl+M for exporting as media, the format I chose is h.264 and it's set to "Match Source - High bitrate" as preset. But when I watch the video after the export it`s totally corrupted (picture is attached).

Could anybody pls help me...

Hi Leon Kottke,

Sorry for the trouble. Import the exported file back into Premiere Pro & see if video is distorted.

What video player are you using to play the video?

Thanks,

Vidya

Hi Vidya,

I opened the Video in the VLC Mediaplayer.

after opening in Windows' own media player (Movies & TV) it worked and also the reimport worked just fine.

So in the end, it is VLC's fault for struggling with the footage or so.

I'm feeling so bad for not having this Idea.

Thanks, Léon.

That's unusual, VLC can usually play anything.
