I am writing a flex app that uses httpservice to load a php
script which in turn loads an XML doc from a URL.
Since the security model wont allow me to do this unless both
are being run from the same domain, my current process is:
code > build in flex > copy files from my flex
directory to the dreamweaver local site directory > use
dreamweaver to put the updated files onto the server > test
(but I can't debug) Is there a better way? There has to be!
Personally I would install XAMP or WAMP on my development
machine and set the Output Folder of your project to be the
document root of your local copy of Apache and the Output Folder
URL to be
Alternatively, you can use Ant or FlexAnt to build and FTP to
your remote server.
Also, check out ServiceCapture or Charles. Great for
debugging Flex/PHP communication.
