I'm new to Flash and all things adobe. I'm drawing people and
trying to fill in their hair, arms, clothes etc. I'm using the
pencil to draw the arms etc, and have used both the ink and the
smooth settings. I think I've drawn an area with no holes that I
can fill, and even if I zoom in I can't see any holes, but the fill
tool isn't working.
Try using the ignore holes setting on the paint bucket.
Sometimes, even when you zoom in, the holes are invisible. I have
seen strokes fill my holes, and even holes that are unseen unless
you look at the path vector points.
I'm a bit unsure on how to solve your problem but, if when
you draw a shape(arm) it appears surrounded by a blue box once you
release the mouse, there is a option which you need to switch off,
to do this, when you select the tool you want to use there will be
a little icon appear in the bottum right, this contains a circle
surrounded by a box, click this and it will enable you to colour
the shape in easier.
