You could create an action in the Actions panel to batch save images for the web.  There are even some default actions that come with Illustrator that might work for you.

Whenever you are looking for workflow solutions or solutions on automisation, you will need to provide a detailed description of the intended workflow. How many files are there, what kind of output exactly do you need? Multiple sizes?

Everyone wants High quality images while spending a minimal amount of time.

You want scripting? Why is this important?

How many files? What kind of files?

You can also use Adobe Bridge for batch processing certain actions, its worth investigating.
