    how to animate Panel title when its chnaged?

      I have mx:Panel, Im changing title time by time...
      How to animate title when its changing? I mean use effect....

      Is there any event that i can capture when title is changing ?

          It's not that simple, but it is an interesting question. You first need to make your own class and extend the Panel control. Override the createChildren method and add your own control to the titleBar. I would suggest you create a new separate component to be used as the child as doing it within your Panel class would be messy.

          In this new class, create properties to change the title. If you do effects like Fade or Zoom or Rotate, your title must use embedded fonts as the Flash Player needs the vector outlines and not bitmaps for the letters when using these effects.

          You can use your title class's commitProperties to set up the effect you want to use and then start it off. Make sure you cancel any running effect first.

            Thanks Peter, I was thinking that would find a easy way....
            Because of all controls have an title bar, its logical to have event when the title is changing.
