InDesign hangs when deleting/selecting some text content

Hello,

During the InDesign plug-in development using C++, InDesign hangs sometimes with following log (got from macOS Console). We tried on both CS6 and CC2018, both have the same problem. Any clue about what/why it happens would be appreciated.
