I understand that spammers are using spiders to search the
internet to gather email addresses from websites so they can
bombard us with junk. I've also heard that there are ways to fool
these spiders so that they don't recognise the email addresses as
such. I've seen a site callled:
http://www.netmechanic.com/news/vol4/design_no21.htm which offers a solution - but only for html sites.
On the other hand, I've heard that the possibility of
tricking these spiders is an urban myth.
My question is, are Flash based websites immune from these
spiders? After all we're always hearing how Googlebots have
difficulty penetrating Flash sites.
or if Flash is not immune, are there any ways we can protect
our sites from these pests?
