Canon 7ti photo previews unavaible

just bought a Canon 7ti and the photo previews are unavailable in Lightroom 5 so i upgraded to Lightroom 6 where it says that this camera is supported, but I am still unable to view any photos taken with the 7ti - any help is muchly appreciated - thank you

The Canon 7Ti was first supported in Lightroom 6.10. Please update Lightroom to the latest version 6.14 from the Help>>Update menu.
