With windows 10 and a Radeon 580 card with 09/26/18 drivers the develop module is constantly giving a black screen. Library and Print are fine. If I turn off hardware acceleration then I can operate but would prefer to use the radeon 580 with LR. No issues in Photoshop CC 2018. This is a 4Gb card. PC is running win10 processor i7 3.4Ghz processor and 32GB of ram. Yes, older machine, but would like to see if there is a fix in place for radeon coming in next 6 months. I have a new build and was going to use the 8GB version. I have had no luck with nvidia cards 960 and 970 4GB with LR on windows. My MacPro is using an older radeon with no problems.

Check to see if there is an updated driver that might fix the problem. If not, don't worry about it. If you don't have a 4K or 5K monitor the graphics card Isn't going to have much impact anyway.

Hi, Driver is current. Not using a 4K monitor, only 30" NEC. But still higher resolution.
I guess I will give up for now getting LR and hardware acceleration to work.
Capture One, no problems, and Photoshop CC 2018.

Driver is current.
Make sure you go directly to the manufacturer's Web site to get the latest version of the driver: Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ. Windows Update often doesn't have the latest version.

Yes, driver is loaded from AMD site, not windows, I never allow that.
Might go back a few driver versions, but not looking like it will work.
