Re post Need help CS3 problem

    Level 7
      Hi,
Just downloaded an upgrade from FWMX to CS3 and I keep getting the message
that the "programme un expectantly has to quit" and will send a report to
      Adobe.

Anyone had this problem before? Really need to get this up and running ASAP.
      Thanks
      Brian

          Hi,
Have to say I'm really stumped on this one. I went in good faith and paid
good money for a CS3 download and now have no working programme. I've email
Adobe and heard nothing back and since discovered a frightening forum where
I really can't follow all the suggestions to get this product working.
          http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=193&threadid=1285408

Surly if there is a serious problem with this product we should be informed
prior to downloading. It just seems crazy in this day and age to be let pay
for this and discover there is no where to turn after the money is gone.

Sorry for the rant here but I just am lost after 15 hours of trying to get
          this working.

          Thanks
          Brian

To be honest no. I'm in Ireland and am not sure if there is a support here
but I guess there is a European one I should call.
              Thanks for the tip.

Hopefully they have a toll free number for you. When you said yo emailed
Adobe, did you email the customer support or tech support addies? Just
trying to think of options for you.

                  Thanks Jim,
I've just been on the phone to Europe and will call them back in the
morning. So far they have been helpful and supportive so I'll let you know
how I get on in the next 24 hours.

                  Thanks again
                  B
