Preflight Profile Disappears

I've set up a CMYK Print Preflight Profile that is my standard check before exporting print PDFs. Except it keeps disappearing. I create the profile, I can use it for a while (throughout different sessions - after quitting and reopening inDesign) and then randomly it's gone, and I have to recreate it. Never had this problem before.

Any ideas?

Wow, no… that is really odd.

One workaround would be to export it and reimport it when it disappears. You can export a profile by choosing Define Profiles from the preflight panel menu, then clicking in the mysterious little menu down near the bottom:
