I used to be able to simply "check a box" then "hide" comments that have been completed. By doing so I was able to "quickly" visually track the revisions I make to my publications. Obviously you people don't need to make money working for Adobe. Those of us who use it to make money, too often loose money when unexpected changes occur in our work environment !

Hi Gil_w,

In the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use. Please also note that both the sort and filter options are available for the check mark.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and will consider adding the check mark by default for future updates of Acrobat DC.

In the latest update of Acrobat DC, the checkbox is moved to the right click menu of the comment.

I read a number of comments related to this issue.

This is the response to your paying customers;

"In the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use. Please also note that both the sort and filter options are available for the check mark."

Insulting.

Gil_w, we understand that with the latest update of Adobe Acrobat, the changes to the new UI were not appreciated but many customers.

The above response just gives the explanation to why checkmark has been hidden. as it hasn't been removed completely, just the experiencing has been changed.That is the reason our engineering team decided to bring the Checkmark back in the commenting note in the next update as soon as possible. And we regret for the inconvenience caused.

Akanchha
