making links in flash :
open Flash - HELP - search for "getURL"

Sorry, is there not a simple way to make a hyperlink to a frame wthin a text without scripting (such as in Powerpoint)?
If you're too lazy to do a tad bit of actionscripting then I suggest that you forget Flash... How long does it take to type this in a button....
Not very long.....
Not sure how to expect to achieve a hyperlink without anytyping - you could try the Behaviors panel
- but as a flash developer or a developer of any kind - be prepared to type something eventually :)

Well if you highlight the text and then look in the prperties panel, you'll see a box to type in a URL (has a little chain link image beside it kinda thing) However, you can not achieve the link opening in a window with this method... How hard is it to convert it to a button symbol and copy and paste the code above?
