Does InDesign server supports HTTPS or only HTTP protocol?

As the question is self explanatory in itself, please let me know if any one has tried this out.

I have not found any sign that this is possible and currently implement a proxy in front of InDesign that runs locally on the same server so that everything to the server is https but then from the proxy to the InDesign server instance is http.
