Overlay two videos with same motif/scene

I tried to exactly overlay two videos with the same motif/scene. The videos are shot with the same camera and settings from almost

the same location. I tried to use effects like shift, rotate, tilt, manually to adjust the two videos.

Is there an automated way to overlay two videos? My idea was to select keypoints (housecorner) in the two videos and bring the different positions

together, but I don´t know how to do it.

this is a screenshot of the first video clip:

and this is a screenshot of the second video clip:

      Thank you for your help!

There is no automated way to do this as far as I know.

I would put one clip on V1 and one clip on V2. Drop the opacity of V2 so you see though to V1. Apply the Corner Pin effect (Effects > Video Effects > Distort > Corner Pin) on to the clip on V2 and drag the corners of the images to get the perspective align as best as possible. You will likely need to work with other controls, such as Scale, Position and Rotation in tandem with the Corner Pin Effect to get it as close as possible. Then bring the opacity of V2 back up to 100%.

Note that you might end up empty space on the edges of the corrected clip. if so you'll have to scale up both images to hide this.
